Darkroom Premium is finally available to iPhone users, again! The support for OS 3.1 is here, so go download the Darkroom Premium update and start using it.
For the time being, Apple has only approved our Premium version, Darkroom Standard version users will need to wait a bit longer for Apple to approve.
Finally, we’d like to thank our users for being patient with us during this unusually long (and ongoing) approval process. Thanks and enjoy Darkroom again!

Is it just me or the “steady” mode is less sensitive in this new update?
Best,
Alex

Is this a free update, or do I have to buy it again?

If you already bought the app, of course it is free for you.

@Leon: Thanx for clearing my question. I guess I spent so much time without using Darkroom

I have an Iphone and also a new itouch. Both have 3.1 os.
Why can’t i download darkroom premium on the itouch. It doesn’t even show up in the app search. I have it on the iphone but no luck getting it onto the itouch. Why?

@Denny Darkroom is a camera/photography app and it utilizes the camera in the iPhone and therefore is not necessary for us to include iPod Touch since the current line of iPods do not have a camera in them.

@Marie, Darkroom Premium will work if you have updated to OS 3.1. Make sure you have the latest OS or email us with more details of your problem at support @ stepcase.com.
Darkroom Standard (free) will continue to crash in OS 3.0/3.1 as it is still waiting approval from Apple.

It is back and almost perfect.
At the moment it is a 2nd page app because video isn’t supported. I have the stock camera app on page one still because I use it for video more then pictures. All darkroom needs is an option for video; with out steady mode, just full screen shutter and whatnot.

I had the impression that puctures I took were being saved online after creating an account? I don’t see them.

@Gary
So, the photo was saved, but doesn’t show up in the online album?
What username did you register with?
@Mouton
AR – Apple had to open up their camera api for that to work.
They’ve only just released that in OS 3.1, which is why it took us so long to get Darkroom back up and running.

The program is very effective. There are two disadvantages. When “steady high” even installed on the surface nepodvidnuyu iphone video almost can not. Use the “steady medium”. Unfortunately, no stores geotag. I hope the programmers to fix it.

@Igor,
You’re right. The High Steady Mode is almost impossible to take a shot with and we are working on fixing this and should be ready in next release.

I use the High Steady Mode often without a problem. Please don’t compromise this feature. That would defeat it’s purpose. Besides, users can always switch to a less sensitive setting if needed
