Wordcamp Hong Kong was held for the very first time in Hong Kong last week. It was the first time for local bloggers and Wordpress users to come together to learn about the blogging platform we all use and love from the founder himself. Matt Mullenweg, founder of Wordpress, flew in and shared with local bloggers about everything from Wordpress history, upcoming Wordpress 2.8, BuddyPress, P2 to his thoughts on Open Source and everything in between.

As we are Wordpress users ourselves, the company blog and the Stepcase Lifehack blog, Leon Ho gave a presentation on how Stepcase Lifehack uses Wordpress to collaborate and manage a blog with multiple contributors and the processes involved. The presentation is below if you guys are interested in how we do it.

The event was hosted at Hong Kong Science & Technology Park, an incubation center, where several local startups reside, including Stepcase (feel free to stop by if you are in the area!).

Before I go, here are some photos from the event. You can find more Wordcamp Hong Kong photos in Flickr.
